Saturday, May 15 - At Rain Nightclub, Playboy's most iconic tradition took place and Playmate of the Year 2010 was announced by Playboy founder and legend, Hugh Hefner. Hefner honored Hope Dworaczyk (Playmate of the Month April 2009) by presenting her with a framed cover issue of her June 2010 magazine cover, keys to a new BMW motorcycle and a check for $100,000. Singer Robin Thicke serenaded guests with a special performance and Dworaczyk joined him on stage. Additional entertainment included a performance by Sony recording artist, The White Tie Affair as well as The Playmate Dancers. Playboy Playmates in attendance included: Kara Monaco, Jayde Nicole, Corinna Harney, Dasha Astfieva, Kassie Logsdom, Amy McElroy, Kelly Thompson, Stacy Fuson, Deanna Brooks, Serria Bishop, Hiromi Oshima, Qiana Chase, Summer Altice, Valerie Mason, Lara Croft, Angel Perino, and Shannon James. Also, personality and former "Girls Next Door" star Holly Madison was amongst partygoers and was accompanied by five others.
Following the ceremony, Hefner, the Playmates and Thicke partied at Playboy Club. Hefner sat at his VIP table where he enjoyed the scene. Dworaczyk was presented with the exclusive Playboy Club key.
Back at Rain Nightclub, former NBA player Gary Payton partied in a VIP skybox with a large group of 17 friends. They sipped on mixed cocktails, and around 1 a.m. Payton made his way to Moon Nightclub with a few friends where he sipped on FIJI water.
